Summer is finally here!

Isn’t this fantastic weather that we are having? Despite the fact that the heat makes it a bit of a challenge to sleep at night, there is no other place like Vancouver when it’s nice out! You simply can’t beat how beautiful it is =)

The summer has started out with some great family sessions. It’s been great fun to see some of my past clients return for updated family portraits. It’s always wonderful for me to see how much the kids have grown and changed! I also really appreciate the trust these families show me by coming back. To me, it says that they know I will make their family look great and that I will capture some precious images for them. So a great big THANK YOU for trusting me again =)

 Eric and I are off next week to Vancouver Island for a photography conference and I’m really looking forward to all the new information that I will gain. I always come back from the conference full of new ideas and simply itching to try them out! It’s always amazes me the amount of knowledge you can gain in just a few short days if you leave yourself open to it.

Simply reserve a new portrait session before July 31st, 2007 and receive a $75 credit towards the purchase of images or products. Sessions need to take place before October 31st, 2007.

As an added bonus and thank you, for each friend that you refer to me who reserves a session before July 31st, you will recieve an additional $15 towards the purchase of images or products. Where does the time go?

Hi everyone,

Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately, I’ve been busy with so many different projects, I’ve been finding it hard to keep up with everything! I’ve been working behind the scenes to get the website updated and hope to have that all together soon. My web designer has been sooo patient with me =)

The new logo is up on the website…thanks again to Tamara & Brenda at Syntric Design for the fabulous job they did. I would love to know what you think of it, so please drop me a line with your feedback.

I recently took part in the Westcoast Moms Community Baby & Toddler show in North Vancouver. It was a fabulous, fun event and I look forward to taking part in their next show on September 25th in Vancouver. I will keep you posted on the details.

Happy Easter!

I hope this note finds you all doing well and feeling well rested after a nice long weekend! I had a great weekend, cooked my first solo turkey dinner (I have helped on many before….just never done it completely on my own!) which was a lot of fun, had a nice visit with some friends and sent my parents off to Paris to visit my sister. All in all, a great weekend!

Then this morning, I got some fun news…I was the winner of the Bunny Indulgence Package from Syntric Design, so a nice Easter basket full of chocolate is headed my way. Tamara and Brenda are a great team and they are the ones reponsible for my amazing new logo. My logo was redesigned just before Christmas and I’m absolutely thrilled with it. They really spent the time to listen to me and come up with something that I think really represents my company well.

In the next couple of weeks, I will start adding some more posts, so do check back often.

Hello world!

Wow – who would have ever thought that I could actually set up a blog! I’m very technically inept and I really don’t enjoy spending a lot of time in front of a computer but I thought this would be a great way to keep my clients and friends informed about what is happening in my world =) A little less daunting then the monthly newsletter that I try to send out (and as some of you know, I don’t always succeed!) but still a fun way to keep you in the loop!
